As Pastor, I believe that in order to achieve the goals and objectives Christ has set for us as his church. It is imperative that we as disciples of Christ understand the importance of studying the bible and applying it to our lives. We must effectively reach out to the unsaved and bring them to salvation through the word of GOD. We must teach the saved to become stronger in their faith. We must also commit ourselves to fulfill our responsibility of evangelizing the lost.
The pastor is responsible for providing strong, biblical based spiritual direction and leadership through preaching, training, and teaching.The congregation has a responsibility to apply preaching, training, and teaching to their lives and become active in evangelism. It is my vision for us to provide a wholistic church in which the congregation will win souls for Christ.
In order to accomplish this vision,which is a constant work in progress, there must be continuous training within the church to properly address the needs of the church and the surrounding community. The ultimate purpose for our existence is to bring glory and praise to God for his forgiveness through salvation in Jesus, praise and honor to Jesus for his sacrificial death, and respect to the holy spirit for sanctifying us through his power.
In order to be effective and reach these goals we must take our responsibilities seriously!
